The Wrecking Crew became the term used to describe a collective of session musicians based in Los Angeles who played on literally thousands of recordings in the 1960s and early 1970s. This includes several hundred Top 40 hits by major recording artists like The Beach Boys, Bobby Darin, Sonny & Cher, Glen Campbell (who was also a member of The Wrecking Crew), Elvis Presley, Nancy Sinatra, and more, and they worked with producers such as Brian Wilson, Lou Adler, Mike Post, and Phil Spector (“Wall of Sound”) to create some of the best loved songs of all time. The Wrecking Crew were the "go to" session musicians in Los Angeles during that time and considered one of the most successful and prolific session recording units in music history.

The show features a special Motown tribute, sung by Lamont Dozier, Jr., son of the famed writing team Holland Dozier Holland’s Lamont Dozier, plus some other surprises!
