Kiki Ebsen

In 1968 Kiki Ebsen discovered the magic of Joni Mitchell on when her sister brought home “Clouds” for Kiki, a budding singer songwriter, to listen to. Kiki was immediately transformed listening to classics like “Michael from Mountains," “My Old Man” and “Chelsea Morning,” immersing herself into the melodies, harmonies and brilliantly colorful lyrics.

Kiki's project is more than a just a tribute to Joni Mitchell. For the past seven years Kiki and her band have been been offering up creative and skillful arrangements of Joni's extraordinary catalog exploring an array of material spanning four decades while infusing their own musical talents they honor the essence of each song. Their set includes the “Rolling Stone top ten” essential songs of Joni Mitchell (Both Sides Now, Free Man in Paris, Case of You, Help Me, California) as well as the deeper tracks (Trouble Child, Black Crow, Two Grey Rooms, Just Like This Train). Kiki delivers beautiful renditions on both piano and guitar, from early years of "River " and "Chelsea Morning" to high energy band tunes like "Raised on Robbery" and "Woodstock". This band covers it all.
