About the musicians: 🎤 Kiki Ebsen A world-class singer-songwriter and dynamic performer, Kiki’s polished vocals and heartfelt songs have earned her a place on stage with legends like Boz Scaggs, Michael McDonald, Al Jarreau, and Christopher Cross. Her performances blend elegance, soul, and emotional depth.
🎹 Jeff Colella One of L.A.’s most respected post-bop pianists, Jeff Colella is known for his endless inventiveness and expressive touch. As a composer, arranger, and educator, his contributions to jazz reflect a lifelong devotion to the art form.
🎸 Steve Cotter A versatile jazz guitarist and seasoned educator, Steve Cotter holds degrees in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas. A former guitarist with the renowned One O’Clock Lab Band, he now teaches at Citrus College, Pasadena City College, and the Pasadena Conservatory of Music.
🥁 Kendall Kay Hailing from Durban, South Africa, Kendall Kay is one of Los Angeles' most versatile and in-demand drummers. He’s brought his groove and sensitivity to performances with Kenny Burrell, Rickie Lee Jones, and Kyle Eastwood.
🎻 Chris Colangelo With a resonant tone and narrative style, bassist Chris Colangelo anchors the ensemble with nuance and depth. His playing transforms every phrase into a meaningful musical conversation.
