(Jazz/pop) A concert of originals and covers with the Kiki Ebsen band. Playing selections from her six solo CDs Kiki will share her singer songwriter artistry backed by an awesome band that includes Brian Scanlon on woodwinds, Matt Starr on drums, Dave Marotta on bass and Grant Geissman on guitar. This performance will be filmed in HD by Yamaha as part of a special promotion for their new Disklavier keyboard. Yamaha is an official sponsor of the Laguna Festival of the Arts. Their newest Disklavier pianos have a technology which allows them to receive video content whereby their piano plays back in sync with video live. They have been recording select concerts from around the country that take advantage of this technology. Concerts are presented that feature HD video of the event, audio of everything except piano with the piano at the receiving end being triggered to sync perfectly with the performance on the video.
