Join us for an evening of music celebrating the music of the greatest jazz & pop vocalist of our generation Al Jarreau. Al was at the height of his career in the 1980's. after the success of his multi platinum records Breaking Away and Jarreau which included his international hit songs We're in this Love together, Morning , Spain , Roof Garden and more . Since his passing a few years ago we have always wanted to recreate the magic of those years seen by millions of fans around the world . We have assembled one of his greatest band of musicians consisting of keyboardist Neil Larsen, Drummer Tris Imboden , Bassist Freddie Washington, keyboardist Vocalist Kiki Ebsen, Guitarist Felicia Collins , Percussionist Lenny Castro Trumpet man Michael Patches Stewart and sax man Michael Paulo. Joining them will be vocalist Chris Walker who spent almost two Decades touring with Al as his bassist, singer and MD. Chris's voice and mannerisms are the closest to Al. Al's influence on his vocals will be apparent from note one. Every band member went on to success in tier own careers , Tris Imboden became the drummer fro Chicago and spent 25 years with the band. Neil Larsen who had his own success as a solo artist went on to tour with Leonard Cohen and continued to record and write for artists such as Kenny Loggins, George Benson , Gregg Allman, George Harrison and more. Felicia went on to be the guitarist on the David Letterman show for the shows duration. Ready Freddie Washington went on to be the bassist for the super band Steely Dan and is currently a member of the band, As a composer he is known for the composition "Forget me nots ". Hi is a bass icon influencing many young generations os bass players and currently teaches bass at the esteemed USC school of music, Kiki Ebsen has gone on to her own solo career and currently tours with her own band Michael Patches Stewart enjoyed his own solo career releasing four solo releases on his own and currently tours world wide with smooth jazz keyboardist Brian Culbertson. Lenny Castro is undoubtedly the most sought after percussionist in the world and also a member of the band Toto. His credits are too numerous to list.
